It's A Tractor Party!
Here's a super fun idea for an autumn birthday.... a tractor farm themed birthday party! Every small child I know loves tractors! You can have games such as
pin the wheel on the tractor for the smaller kiddos, and a candy filled tractor pinata for the older children. If you have at least two kid pedal tractors, races can sure be a lot of fun! Additionally, tractor party supplies are readily available online and in the local party stores. Now, how perfect will it be to hav

Pyrotechnics really scare me and I'm sorry to have passed this fear on to my daughter as well. I don't like the loud booming noises and I certainly have never enjoyed sparklers. Unfortunately, even with multiple safety precautions in place it seems someone gets a sparkler bur

Decoration Day
Did you know Memorial Day was originally called

In 1967 the United States Congress renamed it Memorial Day and made it a national holiday, paying respect to the dead of all of America's wars. It is celebrated each year on the last Monday of May. What does
Memorial Day mean to you? To many people it means the official beginning
